WHY GUIDANCE TEAM?
Let's face it: sometimes work stinks and life ca be hard! Unless, of course, you love what you do. Wouldn't be great to have a passion for your life & career and a positive impact to the world in which you live?
People just like you who want more out of their lives, spend a lot of money each year on self-improvement paraphernalia, only to end up exactly where they began. Know why? It's simple, really: they are missing the key ingredient of all great success stories: A MENTOR.
You see, all the boom shacka lacka motivational pep talks in the world will do little good if they only tell you what to do. You need something more!
You need a mentor to show you how to do what you desire. Just reading a manual book on how to ride a bike won't help you to ride that bike. You need someone to take you by the hand - and the seat of your pants - and show you how to do it.
There's an old saying,"When the student is ready, a teacher will appear". This means that the teachers, and mentors are right around you at all times, but it's not until you are ready to learn the lesson they have to share that they suddenly pop into view. Once we realize thet we need or desire some guidance in our lives, Poof! Out of the blue that mentor suddenly appears, or you find that they were right beside you all along.
It's ok to have multiple mentors in your life. In fact, it's best to have someone that's an expert in one particular field guide you along on your journey. It's not uncommon (in fact, it's highly suggested) to have mentors in various avenue of life, perhaps one for motivation, another for personal relationship, one for business and finance, and another for fitness. The point is that we could all use a mentor for some aspect in your lives.
So here is the challenge: commit this month to finding a guide to assist you in an area where you are lacking. Seek out someone who has been successful in an area in which you wish to excel. "Call them up, do your homework, do whatever it takes to find an outstanding mentor. All GTs, are you ready?
